YM Presentation Night - The annual YM smoker and awards presentation night will take place in the YM clubrooms on Friday 31st May 2013. Guest speakers for the evening will be Gala coach George Graham and Stuart McCulloch of Radio Borders. The player of the year awards will also be presented on the evening. SRU STATEMENT
27 April 2013
SRU via Twitter on 26 April:
Gala YM have been disqualified from RBS East Regional League Division 2 by the East Region Competitions Committee and relegated to East 3 for next season. Gala YM were found to have breached regulations on four occasions concerning fixture non-fulfillment
Statement from Gala YM President Jamie Campbell via Borders Rugby TV:
"We declined our right to appeal decision of East Region Championship committee as previous appeals into the other 3 cancellations of the individual fixtures were dismissed. We therefore chose to accept the decision of the ERCC and now believe the matter closed. We look forward to next season.” SRU via Twitter on 26 April:
