Our style is alternative rock, engaging audiences with catchy hooks and melodies, insightful but playful lyrics, driven by simple but strong instrumentation. 90s/00s inspiration Our palette of influence is wide ranging from catchy punk and alternative rock such as Green Day and Paramore, also heavier influences such as Nirvana and The Foo fighters as well as lighter tones from bands such as Blink182 and With Confidence. Our taste in music is as wide as the audiences we appeal to.

My name is Evie Archenhold, i’m a 17 year old singer songwriter from the Borders who has had a love for music since the day I was born. I’ve had my music recorded and produced with Sound Cycle and I appear on 2 of the 3 albums they have released. I have performed at the Tour De Britain and at other events such as Harestanes and Macarts. I want to be able to create music that reaches people on a more meaningful level and hope to show everyone that music is an amazing art that anyone can fall in love with.
In the summer of 2017, Cameron Boak (guitar/vocals), James Muir (Bass guitar) and Euan Russel (drums) from Peebles formed the band Metropolis. April 2018 saw the completion of the bands line-up with Lewis Mackenzie (Lead guitar), Late 2018 the band underwent a name change to Geckohead. With the oldest member being only 18 they channel their energies into writing and recording original songs (9 at present), with their main influences being 90s alt rock they are creating songs that drip with teenage angst, apathy, frustration and the folly of man. Songs that show a maturity way beyond their years. They continue to hone their own brand of Heavy/Alternative Rock and if you catch one of their live performances be prepared for a barrage of hard-hitting songs played and performed with such energy that it is difficult not to be seduced by their sheer enthusiasm.
Currently in the process of releasing material on all streaming platforms, their first single Ticket to Master was released internationally in September 2019 and was followed by their second single “Thirsty soul”, released in December 2019, which was then followed once again by their third single “Attempt To Escape” released in May 2020. Geckohead are currently writing and recording new material and looking forward to releasing their debut album.
Zenith is a new rock cover band from Peebles, consisting of Ailsa on drums, Fin on guitar and vocals and Sam on bass.
The band formed in late May this year, and this will be their first live performance.
In March 2018 I bought out my self-titled debut four track EP which was released by the infinite hive music label. My music has been described by my label and music fans as sounding like a mix of Jake Bugg, Neil Young, Noel Gallagher and The The. I have many musical influences that have helped shape me to become the musician I am today. Such as Echo And The Bunnymen, Oasis, Pink Floyd, This Will Destroy You, Bruce Springsteen, The Beach Boys, Editors & many more. I supported Kyle Falconer from The View on New Year’s Eve in Edinburgh 2017. I have also gigged steadily in Scotland and in England throughout 2017 - 2020. I completed my first ever solo tour of the U.K back in May 2019 that included a few support gigs for a band called “The Recks” and I done a joint tour with acoustic singer/songwriter Ben Inglis in August 2019. I’ve had one of my songs “Mis-directed” selected to appear on a compilation record released by HX Records and I have made an appearance and played a set for The Green Room In Corby. At the moment Im heading back and forth into the studio to record new material for a debut album which I’m going to be launching in the near future. I’ve recently recorded and released a live studio album this coming summer called “Hot Vox Sessions” that you can check out in links below. During this time I will be playing as many shows/tours in the U.K. as i can. I’ve also done a lot of busking round numerous places in Edinburgh
My name Graham J Godsell and I play under the pseudonym act ‘Just Gee’ I’m an acoustic indie, pop singer/songwriter based in Galashiels, Scotland. After spending several years as a bassist in a few different bands, performing a range of mostly covers ranging from The Stone Roses to Simon & Garfunkel with a few scatterings of originals, followed by a lengthy absence from playing through injury, i finally branched out to try my hand at writing and singing solo. My musical influences are from bands and artists such as Cast, The Stone Roses, The Beatles, Ray La Montagne, Keleo, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Angus & Julia Stone, Semisonic and last but most certainly not least, Guy Chambers! I’ve been steadily gigging around different venues and pubs in The Scottish Borders and West Lothian over the past few years pre lockdown, During lockdown I have been steadily performing live streams at least once to twice per week on several Facebook groups and have been lucky enough to gain some fantastic support from around the globe thanks to the platforms offered
