2XV for Gala RFC. Utilising talented youth players to phase them into the world of senior rugby. This allows them to play alongside experienced players and other youth prospects, but without the pressure and intensity of National League One.
Gala YM RFC
Founded in 1928. The YM now play the East leagues, currently EL3 which is a good standard for senior players who have been out of the game for a while, and are coming back to playing. The YM also features some experienced outfits within the squad.
U18, Semi-Junior Rugby
Gala Wanderers is the last stepping-stone in youth rugby before players either step up to Gala RFC or Gala YM. Led by an experienced coaching group, with occasional assistance from Gala RFC players and the Youth Development Officers.
Gala Red Triangle
U13 - U16, Junior Rugby
GRT is where players really start to develop and shine. Players now follow the rules of Rugby Union in actual games. Playing weekly against other border teams. The GRT are also assisted by Galashiels School of Rugby, and Gala Rugby Youth Development Officers.
Primary 1 - 7, Junior Rugby
Mini Maroons is where players get the first taste of rugby. With weekly training sessions, and monthly tournaments hosted by other border teams, the Mini's is where 90% of Gala RFC start out, before progressing through the youth system.
Gala Vixens is the newest club under Gala Rugby. The vixens are for women of all ages to try rugby, with weekly training and occasional tournaments/games.

S1 - S6, Junior & Semi-Junior Rugby
Galashiels Academy host weekly training sessions and games, both within and out-with class time. Assisted by Gala Rugby Youth Development Officers the coaches work with Gala Rugby to host weekly games at every year group, from S1 through to S6.
