Gala Rugby are delighted to announce the appointment of Ewen Robbie as our new forwards coach at Gala RFC. Ewen joins the coaching team of Craig Dods and Dean Keddie.
“I am really looking forward to the challenge and working with the players. Thanks go to Gala Rugby for the opportunity to get back into coaching at senior level” said Robbie.
Ewen joins the maroons with an impressive track record, he was the DOR and Development Officer for over 6 years at local neighbours Selkirk RFC, with over 20 years coaching experience across various age grades including the Edinburgh U20 pathway. He has previously coached at Murrayfield Wanderers, Selkirk and Peebles, and is also boasts World Rugby S&C accreditation and Scottish Rugby coach educator status.
